“From Java, With Love” Crochet Coffee Cozy Pattern

Seriously, how much better would your day be if your coffee loved you back? The answer is: AMA-ZING! (Zing. Because it’s caffeinated. Get it?) =P

This beginner friendly crochet pattern is in two parts:
the body of the cozy (which can be left plain, or jazzed up with any appliques you want!) & the heart applique, which can be used on a variety of other things, as well!

The cozy itself is approximately 8″ around and 3.5″ high when finished, big enough for a travel coffee cup, or even a cup of iced tea or water!

worsted weight yarn (acrylic or cotton)
crochet hook (4-5mm)
stitch marker (bobby pin, yarn scrap, anything will do)
scissors, tapestry needle for sewing & weaving in ends

Stitches You’ll Need to Know (all are shown in video demonstration)

In ch1 space from previous round: hdc, dc, hdc. 2hdc in next stitch, 3hdc in next, 2hdc in next, 3hdc in next, 2hdc in last stitch.
